Each breath brushes your inner life, fills you with oxygen,your brain expands beyond your normal scope...

Your Age has a meaning

How old are you? This used to be the most dreaded question for women and in our modern age, and for men as well. Women would lie, desperately hoping nobody would recall an earlier birthday celebration, let’s say ten years ago, when the woman was considered “young”. Men used to proudly tell their age until it became unfashionable even for males to be their age. Now you can loose your job if you “look” old. Men now color their hair to get rid of the gray they once thought was sexy. Women not only dye their hair, but they get face-lifts, and both sexes get tummy tucks, all to “appear” younger. They may recapture the appearance of youth, but they are missing the rich rewards each age can bring.

Why is it that we cringe from the knowledge of our aging? It beats the alternative. If we didn’t age, we would be dead! Is being dead really more glamorous then old age? Look at my corpse, we would say. Look, it isn’t aging anymore. Whooptido!

Age is a triumph of the body and mind together over the wear and tear of time. When we age, it is visible proof that we have survived all those years. No matter what our mission was, if we live long enough, we may live to see our causes win and our purpose and desire in life fulfilled. Living long enough is a triumph over the slow changes of history. Living long enough is the great payback for all the troubles it takes to survive diseases, disappointments and psychic wounding.

Aging is a gentle path which takes us slowly back home, to the other side where all of our relatives are waiting for us. Death is the fruit of aging and since aging is the proof of life, here we find a mystery. Death is part of life. Death is part of the glorious pattern of which we are a part. Once dead, we are beginning a new existence, one beyond visible organic life. That is the time when reach the other side of the Circle of Rebirth. Accepting aging is a sure way to start finding meaning in our whole life – from our youth until the very end. Resisting aging is a sure path to become an old fool.

The Destiny Groups

We have three big destinies as human beings. Each last about 30 years. They each contain a mission for you. Finding your mission in life is the key to happiness and self esteem. It help’s you orient yourself to the universe and to the circle of rebirth, make relationships with others and discover the keys to a joyful and full life. Traveling together as global women from many countries and cultures, we are still in essence the same, and we will find joy and sisterhood. We practice a spiritual lifestyle by praying every day, doing a ritual of self-blessing every week, and reading sacred texts. We grow in awareness of the Goddess in the every day details. As we live these new connections, we discuss them on the Round Table forum, which is our virtual living room.

Destiny groups will also have their own forums, where they work together on projects, such as reviving a lost holiday. I, Z, will tour all the forums frequently, and engage with the processes that you are developing among yourselves.

Find your place on this chart, and know that this is the big picture. Not the astrology we read in the newspapers, but the attunement to the spirit of our time. Large forces shape the spirit of our time, but generally I have taken Saturn as a measuring rod. Saturn takes about 28 ¼ years to make its big lumbering circle, and it coincides with some fundamental basic shifts in our psyches, in our values and levels of energy. But most of all the mission of our lives changes with each Saturn return. It is valuable to hold together and share the feelings and experiences and variety of expression of being female.

First destiny: Maidens who are 1-30 years old.

Maidens 1: 1-21 years
Maidens 2: 21-30 years

Second destiny: Queens who are 30-60 years old.

Queens 1: 30-40 years
Queens 2: 40-50 years
Queens 3: 50-60 years

Third destiny: Crones from 60-90 years old

Crones 1: 60-70 years
Crone 2: 70-80 years
Crone 3: 80 + years

Find your place according to your age. That is your Destiny Group, and those are the people with whom you are sharing the Destiny Forum and the journey for a little while. Take the program for a test drive.
