Here we are Sisters in Goddess, coming together to celebrate the birth of the Goddess Movement in our times, through sacred ritual and divine style. We are coming together ... old and young ... women who stood with me in the beginning and women who carry the torch along side me now.

Divine sisters, mothers, lovers ... women of all shapes and sizes ... all cultures ... all of us with common goals, common lives and touched by the Graces who inspire us to be strong and purposeful women. We unite in common struggle, extending a hand to any woman who needs it ... a shoulder to lean upon in times of difficulty ... a loving hug when needed. And, good frequent deep belly laughs.

We walk in the footsteps of the formidable women who challenged the status quo and made the lives of generations to come better. We are forever indebted to them, and come to honor and celebrate their spirits. The Holy Book of Women's Mysteries is an expression of all of this and much more. It is why this book has continued to remain in print for over 35 years. It is indeed a Holy Book.

As women we appreciate beauty, the divine expression of the Goddess in all her aspects. We appreciate the Goddess in each other. So, join me in letting your Goddess out to play, sing and dance as we work our way through the teachings of the Holy Book of Women's Mysteries as we rediscover our lineage.

Joining our celebration are many of the women who have helped to forge the sacred fires of the Dianic tradition. We have come full-circle, and it's time to reawaken unto ourselves again!

Our Presenting Women for this Gathering

One of the most prolific authors of our times, Diana Paxson has influenced us through historical fantasy novels. Sharing her love of the runes and astrology, she has enriched the lives of all who have read her.

She and I co-wrote the book Celestial Wisdom together. Diana wrote Taking Up the Runes, a very successful book on the basics of runes.

Diana is a strong ritualist who expresses her love of the Goddess in gracious ways. I've asked Diana to teach us about the Runes and Trance for this Gathering.

It was Z's Goddess Festivals that inspired Ava to do this Goddess work, and now she too has come full-circle back to her origins as she shares with us the roots of Creating a Goddess Temple. Let there be more temples of the divine feminine where women can meet and rejoice in the beauty of the Goddess. Let Ava inspire and mentor you!

I call her Weedy, but you should call her Susun, a master herbalist and divine priestess of the Goddess.

I ordained her as a High Priestess back in the early days of the Movement, and bless her for taking up the Goddess's charge ever since.

Susun is a true master herbalist, atuned to the ways of nature and the human body. The first half of her book, Healing Wise, is dedicated to understanding the Goddess within Nature and ourselves.

Susun has attended many of my Goddess Festivals over the years, and always brings with her a reverance for the divine.

I've asked Susun to teach us some Herbal Mysteries for this Gathering, guiding us towards the divine within nature ... and especially, living and growing under this magnificent canopy of ancient redwood trees.
